5 Must-Have Kitchen Cleaning Products to Keep the Heart of the Home Fresh

submitted on 12 May 2023 by descaler.co.uk
Keeping the kitchen clean can feel like a full-time occupation, but it doesn't have to be one. These top kitchen cleaning products will help you keep your kitchen and its equipment looking and smelling fresh.

All Purpose Degreaser

Grease is the enemy of a clean kitchen. Even if you cook incredibly healthy meals using only a small amount of cooking oil or fat, grease seems to get everywhere. It can stain wallpaper or paint, get into difficult to reach spaces, and loves to accumulate on the top of kitchen cupboards. An all-purpose degreaser is the number one must-have kitchen cleaning product; without one, you have no chance of cleaning away the grease and grime that builds up on your surfaces.

Coffee Machine Descaler

It can be hard to get going in the morning without a fresh cup of coffee. Whether you boil the kettle, use a French press, or a coffee pod machine, there is dirt, grime, and limescale building up every time you make a brew. Your kitchen needs a coffee machine Descaler under the sink to help you keep your coffee maker fresh and your morning mocha latte or cappuccino tasting its best. Doing this quick and easy job once a month will keep on top of the limescale and grime build-up.

Sanitising Spray

Need a quick germ free clean? Accept no substitutes. For dealing with spills, cleaning up after chopping raw meat, or wiping up after small hands have rushed into the kitchen and got your countertops dirty, there is nothing better than a sanitising spray. They are tough on dirt and germs and can take care of fresh stains and will leave your surfaces clean enough to eat your dinner off them (though this would create more mess, so don’t do it). Dried or ingrained dirt will require something tougher to get the job done, however.

Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner

At least once a year you need to tackle your oven. Grease and bits of food build up over time and can become incredibly difficult to remove after baking into the walls and racks of your oven every time you use it. Pair a heavy-duty oven cleaning product with a steel scraper. The oven cleaner will soak into the grease and grime in your oven and allow you to wipe a lot of the dirt away, and the scraper will be there to work on the harder bits that have glued themselves on.

Baking Soda & White Vinegar

When all else fails, try this combo. These two cheap and readily available products work together to create an awesome kitchen cleaning solution that cleans and kills germs. Use dry baking soda to coat stains or difficult dirt. Add a little water to make a thick paste if you have trouble making it stick. Wait a while before spraying or dripping some vinegar on your baking soda paste and let it soak in for a minute or two before wiping away with a damp cloth. You will be amazed at the results. Get kitted out with these cleaning products and your kitchen won’t know what hit it. These products cover all the bases, and with a little elbow grease, you will be able to make the heart of your home sparkle and smell fresh.
