In most cases the hiring and recruiting process for the construction company is ongoing. The problem is that qualified people in this industry are hard to find. Statistics show that the entire construction industry will increase at a rate of around 11% in the following years so brand new jobs are going to appear. As a construction company, you are interested in getting the best possible employees. This is not as easy to do as you may think.

There will be a need for more workers but the main working age group (25 to 54) is now on a decline. There will be around 3 million fewer workers available in the following years. Competition between constructors to get the best possible talent is higher than ever.

Pre-Recruiting Needs
The best thing that you can do is to work with construction & electrical recruitment agencies that have proved to be able to deliver good staff. Everything basically starts with pre-recruiting. You want to be sure that you identify exactly what you are looking for. In so many cases we see companies that have no real knowledge about what the ideal candidate is. When you determine what the best recruit is, the entire process will go faster. The staff that you will get will be better as people will have the exact competencies, skills and experience required.

Company Branding
If you want to get the best possible talent, it is not enough to put out great job descriptions. You also need to make it clear why the best workers should be interested in coming to your company.
