What steps do you take to stand out from your competition?

We offer high quality customer service and a 20% discount on all cleans.

What's the most unique way you market your business?

Through great customer service. This leads to referrals and there is no better way to get business than from happy customers.

Do you find social media effective in marketing your business, or do you think it's overhyped?

We haven't really explored it as we prefer to use SEO to drive traffic to our site, but it could work.

How long have you been marketing your business online? What changes have you seen in this time?

2 years.

How much do you rely upon word-of-mouth marketing?

We do get a lot of business from word of mouth, but most of our business comes from SEO traffic and directories such as this one.

When did you launch your website? What changes have you seen on the internet since launching your website?

2018. Google now looks for high quality sites, rather than thin sites lacking content.

What do qualities do you look for in an employee?

Reliability and great customer skills

What made you get into the business you're in?

Highly experienced in the industry

What's the thing you hate the most about the industry you're in?

Travelling between jobs.

The travel between jobs, tricky parking areas, and the seasonality.

What's one thing your target market don't fully understand, but would greatly benefit them if they did?

That there needs to be a minimum call out fee to cover the travel and time.

What's the most annoying type of spam email that clogs up your inbox?

SEO offers.

Do you think the internet is heading in a positive or negative direction?

Positive.

Is your business a lifestyle business, or are you always looking for continious growth?

Growth.

Describe your office! For example, do you work from home, or do you have an office full of employees?

Home based and very comfortable.

How did you get your idea or concept for the business?

Had lots of experience in the industry and wanted to branch out on our own.

What is unique about your business?

Our outstanding customer service and care for the customer.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Focus on customer service. People remember it and will use you again.

Are there any ethical concerns that your type of business must deal with?

Not really.

What's the biggest problem you are currently facing with running your business?

Covid19

What works best when talking with your clients/customers - an informal or formal style of communication?

Definitely informal.

Is the customer always right?

Yes.

Have you ever 'fired' a customer?

Not yet thankfully.

What extra lengths do you go to when looking after your customers that your competition don't bother with?

We offer our service to all jobs, nothing too big or small.

How much do you focus on after-sales support?

We do follow-up with customers every year checking in if they require any follow-up work, and also request reviews to ensure they are happy with our work.
