Why Should You Have Your Very Own Outdoor Office?

submitted on 8 September 2014
There are more and more people who take up the idea of working from home because their jobs allow them to. This is a great idea most of the times, but there are certain challenges that one needs to face in order to be able to perform well from home. That is the reason why the idea of having an outdoor garden office might be the best one there is.

First of all, there is the aspect of separating the professional life from the personal one. It might seem a little too farfetched, but people that work from home face the problems of having to deal with the household problems first and then go and work. Having a different space for your home job can easily sort this problem out. Basically, you are disconnecting from your home for a period of time in order to perform at your best potential.

Second of all, the psychological impact is to be considered as well. It has been proven that we work well when we are out of comfortable environment (like our home). That is the reason why many freelancers face the problem of not being too productive in certain days because they feel too comfortable. A garden office will take care of that problem immediately because it will transport you, psychologically, in another environment that will surely help you to be more productive.

Third, there is the idea of eating healthy. More and more people face the problem of having to eat fast food because they work schedule doesn’t allow them to cook their own meals. This is pretty bad because a bad eating disorder will affect your life completely. By having a home office in your garden, you will be very close to your kitchen and in your brakes you can easily cook yourself something that is fresh, green and healthy for the body. This might be one of the best reasons to actually consider moving your work at hope. People have started playing with their bodies and doctors have more and more patients that suffer from a disastrous eating disorder.

Forth, this is that type of environment that is stress free. Of course you will be having deadlines, of course there will be problems to solve, but the idea that you have your own office at home in your garden will enhance your mood and your spirit. Closed walls and small cubicles have the tendency to send out a very strong sense of claustrophobia, closeness and even a stressful environment. Garden spaces can easily be a great way to evade from that environment into a much healthier one.

Finally, there is the idea of flexibility. This is the best thing that can happen because you get to choose when you work. Of course, this requires a lot of responsibility from your behalf as the workload will pile up if you will be skipping hours, but the great thing is that you can work from your home and that will surely pay off.
